The Junebug

by canyon critter on January 17, 2014

Last night Jeribella and I had a little trunk show at a super cute place over in North Asheville called Uncle Junebug’s General Store. There was so much eye candy it was overwhelming. I wanted literally everything. David and Houston were such amazing hosts and might I say… super adorable. So check out his Facebook page. His shop is filled with local artist goodies and vintage items.

Here are some photos from the shop. Maybe one day, my house will be this cool!

These gorgeous items are from my friend Mary lynn of In Blue. She is one of the most amazing people I have ever met and so extremely talented.

She also has a cool etsy shop.

The most handsome David Earle also has his metal work showcased. Not only can his voice swoon you and make you melt, he makes gorgeous metal art.

Check out his metal page and music page.

projects

by canyon critter on January 17, 2014

I am starting a series of personal projects this year in photography and metal. This year has been a true lack of inspiration due to life circumstances but I am refusing to let any more things get in the way, so I am challenging myself daily with little projects. One is the selfies – dog and me. This could get interesting. I have a lot of ideas… eep!

ps. I am slowly getting my gypsy, wolf and willow blog together… you thought I gave up on it, eh? Just a little slow, but it’s coming.

I am also shooting for Sarge’s Animal Rescue once a week and the county animal shelter out there for bio photos.

Next week I meet with the most sweet Miss Darling of Pinups for Pitbulls to talk about shooting events, which I am very excited about. Now I just have to work all weekend on my photo website to for viewing – no pressure ;).

I was going to share some things with you about my day, but I might wait. I am so tired my fingers are crossing. It was an extremely emotional day talking with two intuitives about my life, my animals and recent events which is leading to future events and I had a little craft show, which I have photos for tomorrow’s post. whew!

ps. There might be a move soon, possibly sooner than thought… maybe – you know how I work by now if you have followed my ventures. One really never knows what I will do or when.

I am visiting in March to see if I connect and if not I will stay here for a while, but if you have anything to tell or any photos to share with me about Austin –

spill it. All details good and bad.

Here is my week in photos:

snowflakes.

by canyon critter on January 16, 2014

Sometimes it feels like time passes and there is so much to say yet nothing at all. I have had insomnia the last couple nights. I think I am a bit tired.

It snowed this morning. Snowflakes as large as you can imagine. It was like magic dust surrounding me. I was entranced by white.

Edi and I did selflies. They are pretty horrible. Still trying to figure out my camera. So we practice every day. We have some amazing things planned in the future blog.

I had intuitive readings done this week… a group consult if you will of my current pack and Ansli and Sally. I was literally in a puddle of tears on the floor she was so spot on. I highly recommend intuitive pet care by kira if you need to talk with your present or past animals. It is amazing how intuitive our animals our and truly we are intuitive if we are in the right energy space, but I am not currently… so Kira… is amazing.
