The morning was dreamy concoction of white prickling snow and the wind as still and silent as I have ever felt. As the day as drifted on the winds have become violent and ferocious and the cold piercing to the bone, hence no walking today. Of course, as I write this Jack is standing outside with his head so high to the heavens absorbing all the smells it is bringing his way.
I love my walks with the pups. It is such a calming medicine and the cold on my cheeks makes me feel so alive and grateful for life.
So I went into the studio early this morning to work on my clocks. One more layer of paint and sanding and all finished. I am so proud of this project. I love the organic feeling of the birch and the grains in these pieces are so wavy and just gorgeous. I love how you can put your totem animal on your wall and I have made so many pit bull pieces for people to display their love for such an amazing breed.
I am very excited to put these in the shop and show you the finished product soon.

Beautiful captures! It was very cold & windy here the past few days, but now the weather is really nice. We just got done with a long walk. Hopefully this weather will be coming your way!
