ok. go.

It was so hot and windy today, but luckily, the pups and I got to hang and take some photos before it got too bad. I was also supposed to go cut my wood pieces today, but lost track of time. I really have to get on it this week and get them all cut. We could be off to Vegas this weekend. My dad went and helped the guy paint the trailer today. They got the bottom half all painted and tomorrow they will paint the top white. The color was a bit different than I had expected, but it is still pretty. After it is all painted, the awning goes on, these silver diamond pieces go on the front as rock protectors and the cabinet doors. I won’t get to decorate any of it until after I get a job. I am excited to give it some personality and make it me… my little road house.

Don’t get me wrong, I still want my farm and that is still my goal, but I like the safety of having this trailer. My dogs and I will never be homeless 😉

Anyways, I decided to make some keychains today to see if they sell, dunno – they are cute.

And I seriously have to get finishing packing. I think there have been so many almost moving times, it is hard to believe I might be going this weekend. Kind of scary to be honest. I know I move a lot, but it is still the unknown as far as a part time job, friends… everything. And then knowing I will be doing it shortly again when I go to Austin. I am trying to see it as an adventure and my dogs will be fine and adjust fine. I think that is the thing most that puts me on edge. I have two loud hounds and not knowing if there will be other dogs in the neighborhood or If I can find a path to walk them. I know…. all these motherly questions and wonderings. It will all be ok, I will just buy a big bottle of Jack. haha. J/k.

Anyways, this is the color of my airstream. My dad won’t let me go help b/c I made the paint guy upset, so photos hopefully later this week when it comes back to the shop.

This is my first decorative purchase. A door knocker for the outside of the door. I love Anthropolgie!

I have been making some of my boards silhouettes chalkboards – some will be beer openers and some will have hooks for keys/leashes. I will makethe clock silhouettes out of birch wood – pretty. oh la la!
fun
I found this feather. I LOVE feathers. I have projects I want to make with them, but I don’t want to buy them for fear of where they got them. If someone just gathered dropped ones, I could dig that, but… so if you know anyplace… let me know!

I am sooo envious of you!!!! Maybe you’ll need a farm neighbor in Austin. I’ve never lived in TX before. 🙂

haha. me neither! but I have heard such good things. I am not a “texas” person but I hear austin is a land of it’s own. I know it is a collage town but so many artists and music and diversity there. will see!

I can’t wait to see pics of the Airstream. It sounds like it’s going to look super cool!

I know what you mean about moving. We have at least 5 years yet before we can move & I find myself fretting over things, especially with how my girls will adjust. There are so many unknowns, but things always seem to work out.

Love the door knocker and that feather is gorgeous!
