Dear Portland,

I am sorry I have hated you so much. My expectations were set so high of you and I feel like we failed each other. I will try harder to make this love affair better. Maybe the spring will bring new light and a love to surpass all. I will try to make things better for us and see if we can make this relationship work. I am having a hard time adjusting, but maybe this is just how beginnings are. I am sorry for giving up so soon, I will reset my mind and have a new attitude. Please forgive me.

I will make a list of all the things we can do together and places to visit and venture out to. I need to expand my horizon to the ocean,rescues and all your charming little hidden places and see what you have to offer…
