So Gramps made it through the night successfully. The first night is always the scariest. He was not happy about being in the clinic, but he had to have IV’s in him. When he is better, I will see if I can walk him. I hear it is two weeks he has to stay. So with all this and his whole story…he gets to be in the Best Friends Magazine. This is huge. Dogs that are in the magazine have such a high chance of adoption, especially with his cute face. So let’s all put out good energy for him. He deserves the best.
On a side note: My pack is much better…I am much better. We are walking again twice a day. Cesar has it right…a tired dog is a happy dog. A balanced dog. It is still not enough though. They need more intensity. I just have to not be scared of my new Landrollers. EEK! but so exciting and I know Jack and Edi are great with the bike. So the bike is my next mission and I think someone might have a treadmill we can borrow. So things are coming together. Now I just need to get my Sally project going and my personal projects as well…One day at time.
woof.
