This weekend is filled with lots of busy – not a bad thing ;). I hung out with my buddy Ohio last night, had some dinner and went and heard some music – although, my head just wouldn’t stop pounding so it was a little hard to completely enjoy it. Tonight I am going to watch motor bike racing or something like that – apparently, it will be good – maybe. So at least I have all day to get lots of metal pieces cut (will be filling the shop back up soon!), organize my herbs and maybe clean a little and work on making treats for tonight. I decided to do the herbal balls next week and make the homemade twix bars today. I hope they will be good. eek! Tomorrow is my river date and a Daughters of the Earth Conference (join in if interested! open to public) call and then evening writing. Sundays are always my favorite day ever.
The last few days Sally and I have been living on herbal teas. She hasn’t felt well and neither have I, but I do think they are helping. She was at least up for breakfast today and my headache finally went away. whew! Which meant I walked the dogs for 2 hours. We have been pretty steady with our walking. Even if I go to bed at 2am or 4am, I am still up at 7:30 walking them. Dedication, I say or maybe love 😉
I am looking into starting yoga at the community yoga center- donation based so super awesome!. I will be honest… a little nervous and I don’t know why, but I feel like I need to start soon. Very soon.
Bloom Post is also offering amazing shamanic intuitive readings for $33. She will go into the realms and help you heal/ shift or bring back messages from your guides. I am thinking of doing this since I haven’t journeyed in a while – needing some guidance about a few things. She can do it from anywhere, so check her out – it is only for January.
I had the awesome opportunity to run into the cute gal from Shelter the other night and yes, I introduced myself. You know, I lived in LA and never got giddy over all the movie stars, but I see a fellow blogger/crafter and I get super excited. She makes the most amazing bags.
I also met the cutie from In Blue – although, I didn’t realize who she was until later and realized that she looked familiar ( I had been following her store!) – talk about inspiring… she has sales that have spiked beyond the planet but she makes the cutest journals. I can’t wait to introduce myself…
I also met an amazing photographer where I hang out. Her photography is up right now at The Altamont Brewery – so if you live here go check it out.
This town just is a mecca for creative and talented people. It is truly a good thing.

Do you ever have those days where you have SO much to get done that pretty much none of gets crossed off the list. Yep! that was my Monday. That just means double time tomorrow, so I better take my vitamin b12 for energy and more water to hopefully keep my daily headaches at bay. arg! I am really sad that this heat is back. It was starting to feel like fall and now we are back to hibernating inside by the air conditioner. However, my body still says it is fall. I am craving pumpkin, soups and all things warm. I think this list looks super yummy to try, especially the pumpkin smoothie.
Tomorrow morning I am going to attempt to do a coin purse tutorial for you. Yippy!!

The last few days I feel as busy as a little bee. I have been waxing airstream floors and yesterday waxed the exterior – only 2 more coats on a 30 foot beast 😉 I am redoing the inside a bit to make more room to work, so I am painting somethings and making pillows, rag rugs, a couch cushion and a shelf. I think you will like it when finished.
One thing less I will have to do is make a dog bed for Sally. She won one today from a giveaway. Super exciting. (will take photos when I get it!)
It has also been a super happy day b/c I got my books in the mail and I love getting books. I LOVE books especially when it is learning new things for my business.
I also have some little necklace charms that I enameled today and will be putting them in the shop tomorrow.
Whew! and don’t forget about the sale I am having for Ansli’s birthday. She really wants a birthday present 😉

Can I just say that I am ready for fall. This heat is sucking my energy right out the door. Of course, if I had a pool I might be thinking differently. So I have been working on more of these the last couple days…
There are more in the shop if you want to check them out. I hope to be adding some gemstones to them soon. I ran out of copper and ran out of dog food. HOLY SHIZ! I need to start making lists, but I think now I will blame the heat and this bloody sinus infection that won’t leave. Must order Nettle tea. MUST!
In other news…
Yesterday, I sat perched on a wall like a bird on a wire, but not as high, in fact, not very high at all. It was hard to sit still at first – it must be all that coffee I drink, but it was fascinating. Your perception changes and life looks a little bit different – ok, maybe not a lot different but I noticed things that maybe otherwise I wouldn’t have. I did, however, wish that I could fly with my feathered friends in that brief moment. So here are some photos from my “view”.
Of course, I had to end the day with some Tambi love. I honestly don’t know how dogs lay in the grass. I did for a few minutes and I was Miss Itchy Itcherson.
