My friend beth, her boyfriend and dog Alfredo stopped in Asheville last night.
They left their life here in Asheville a while back to travel in their camper and now they are heading west.
They have a great blog that you can read about their travels and experiences here. It was exciting to see them and the weather was fantastic by the river.
I am so excited they are brave enough to do this. I can’t wait until my time comes to leave…
The world is calling đ

This week has been filled to the brim. I have been holding off on blogging because I wanted to change the name of this blog to Gypsy Wolf & Willow, but I am having some difficulty, so alas… I am giving in and posting until I can figure it out – but don’t worry, it will happen!
My nights have been filled by the moon lately. I can’t sleep at all, so much happening and so many ideas and not enough time. No complaints, especially when your moon sisters are up to chat with you. This last Monday, I spent the day frolicking in the forest with my friend little darling. She is enchanting and I love her fiercely. It is crazy the connection you can have with some people so quickly. She feels so deep and strong like I do and loves animals just as crazy.

last photo by little darling.
This is Sofia. She lives next to Little Darling.
I love goats.. in a huge way.

The next night we went to eat at our most favorite restaurant. Not many places you can come in and get such huge smiles from the staff and hugs from the owner. What?! yah, big hugs. Such a nice entrance to an amazing dinner. We ended up just getting tons of ĂÂ yummy vegan appetizers, wine and ice cream.
So I am telling you that you MUST without question go eat at Plant in Asheville and add their FB page and say hello.
Seriously.
Little Darling and I will be there every week eating ice cream and drinking wine.

So now that I am looking at all these food photos, I will seriously probably dream of kale and ice cream.
Yes. A love story of Kale.
Until tomorrow.
Be Free.
Be Wild.
Dream of ice cream.

Asheville blogĂÂ
Last night was a crazy storm full of thunder, lightening and heavy rain. It was a bit scary to be honest, but the hardest part is my pups. Mostly Jack. When Ansli was alive, they would both just shake and shiver… it would break my heart. I think she calmed him a bit even though she was scared too. Now that she is gone, he was coming out of his skin last night – nothing was working. So I am a bit exhausted today and hoping for a calm night tonight, but it doesn’t look at that way. Oh well.
In other news there has been a lot going on – good and bad. I met with a girl yesterday, who is the most adorable thing ever and so talented. It is was one of those amazing soul connections and the universe truly brought us together. This came at the perfect timing… Sometimes it helps not to feel alone and we all need this support – especially in our art. So we are working on a project soon and starting networking meetings with other photographers. I think this year will be wild fire. I know it will be a lot of hard work, but I am ready.
So you should check out her blog and photos and go tell her hello.
What do you do when your pups get crazy with thunderstorms?

I wasn’t feeling well today and the weather was grey so I hung out with the zoo today. ĂÂ This was also a hard day as my best friend had to cross her dog. My heart felt so heavy for her. Death under any circumstance never makes for the best day. So I wanted to hug mine and be present with them. Jack is showing his age lately and I don’t want to miss any opportunity I have to be with them.
So here are some random shots from my day.

there are more photos on my flickr if you like…
ps. I have slowly been getting my photo site together. Check it out if you like. It will be changing a lot until I get it perfect.
I am currently reading 200 pages of marketing and pricing materials. oy!

This video. This panther. This woman. Magic.
Ideas for herb gardens, since the dogs like to eat them.

I have been on a crazy yoga obsession. I started doing a tape everyday. I feel different. I want to be stronger and progress. Sometimes it’s hard when in the beginning stages to see yourself doing headstands and such… but I will get there.

love this girl… this song.
This looks so good – from oh she glows.

Buffalo
Buffalo has come snorting into your life today to bring a message of great hope. Buffalo sacrificed every part of his physical body to support those who hunted himââŹâbut he also gave his spirit. And, it’s that spirit of hope, abundance, and a bright future that he brings to you today. If you are experiencing a troubled journey, help is here.
This cute little thing singing to me last night.
