This week has been filled to the brim. I have been holding off on blogging because I wanted to change the name of this blog to Gypsy Wolf & Willow, but I am having some difficulty, so alas… I am giving in and posting until I can figure it out – but don’t worry, it will happen!
My nights have been filled by the moon lately. I can’t sleep at all, so much happening and so many ideas and not enough time. No complaints, especially when your moon sisters are up to chat with you. This last Monday, I spent the day frolicking in the forest with my friend little darling. She is enchanting and I love her fiercely. It is crazy the connection you can have with some people so quickly. She feels so deep and strong like I do and loves animals just as crazy.
last photo by little darling.
This is Sofia. She lives next to Little Darling.
I love goats.. in a huge way.
The next night we went to eat at our most favorite restaurant. Not many places you can come in and get such huge smiles from the staff and hugs from the owner. What?! yah, big hugs. Such a nice entrance to an amazing dinner. We ended up just getting tons of  yummy vegan appetizers, wine and ice cream.
So I am telling you that you MUST without question go eat at Plant in Asheville and add their FB page and say hello.
Seriously.
Little Darling and I will be there every week eating ice cream and drinking wine.
So now that I am looking at all these food photos, I will seriously probably dream of kale and ice cream.
Yes. A love story of Kale.
Until tomorrow.
Be Free.
Be Wild.
Dream of ice cream.

I haven’t slept much these last few days, but my photo website and dog blog are looking good… at least, I think. So go check it out and tell me what you think.
Still in progress, so be gentle.

Asheville blogÂ
Last night was a crazy storm full of thunder, lightening and heavy rain. It was a bit scary to be honest, but the hardest part is my pups. Mostly Jack. When Ansli was alive, they would both just shake and shiver… it would break my heart. I think she calmed him a bit even though she was scared too. Now that she is gone, he was coming out of his skin last night – nothing was working. So I am a bit exhausted today and hoping for a calm night tonight, but it doesn’t look at that way. Oh well.
In other news there has been a lot going on – good and bad. I met with a girl yesterday, who is the most adorable thing ever and so talented. It is was one of those amazing soul connections and the universe truly brought us together. This came at the perfect timing… Sometimes it helps not to feel alone and we all need this support – especially in our art. So we are working on a project soon and starting networking meetings with other photographers. I think this year will be wild fire. I know it will be a lot of hard work, but I am ready.
So you should check out her blog and photos and go tell her hello.
What do you do when your pups get crazy with thunderstorms?

It is grey and rainy today. A perfect day to stay home, cuddle and watch movies. Doesn’t that sound amazing? Â Except, there is no time today for movies. ha.
My mind is still quiet from lack of coffee this morning, I started a job during the week and now do photoshoots and metalwork on weekends, so I am trying to find that delicate routine schedule balance and not feel exhausted… yet, I feel exhausted. So I am trying to figure out an exercise and eating schedule that will help with more energy and get the dogs out more. Sometimes in the midst of busy you have to find your calm and realize there is an end goal in site. The dream is worth it. Push through. The universe will guide you and give you strength.
Happy Monday, birds.

Sometimes transitions can be rough even coming out of winter. Shedding our hibernation skin and blossoming under the sun like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly can rub a little rough sometimes. I have been feeling it a little, for sure. I have also been very determined to make this spring be one of adventure and stories.
So my friend little darling and I grabbed some coffee and off we went on a little adventure to find my first waterfall. Luckily, Asheville is surrounded by beauty and we only had to drive about 45 minutes before reaching DuPont State Forest… you know, where some of Hunger Games was filmed. oh yeah. that…
The weather was gorgeous and we even saw an older couple get married in camo attire there. We also saw a bunch of kids climbing on rocks like monkey’s which almost gave me a heart attack. oy!
We saw so many weird people and cool things. It definitely helped to get out of “town” for the day to refuel our spirits. Nature is magic.
these are some iPhone photos from the day…
vegan gelato… the best!
of course, to end my evening… I stopped by to see my friend Jeri and we went and got some pizza.
I was so excited this place had vegan pizza from a fire brick oven and it was so yummy!
