Trust.

To go beyond the lines of just living day to day – what makes any day exceptional is gratitude. Since moving here, I feel like everything has changed for me – it is not perfect, in fact it’s not even close, but I am not sitting in a puddle of complaints.  My day is filled with so much love, gratitude and blessings. I know that might sound cheesy. I don’t care, really.

The universe expands when we open our arms wide and give thanks. To be able to live and breathe among the trees and live and learn from the animals… honestly, if you just leave the chaos for a bit, sit in silence – you will hear. You will understand and see what you need to, your guides are there to help if you ask, but we don’t ask. We don’t sit still.

Since this whole vet thing started, I have had the hardest time meditating. I go to the river, I sit at home and my head is so wrinkled and my eyes are shaking as I try to keep them closed… that just means – try harder and sit longer. Isn’t what we resist – what we need the most?

I don’t have much of an update on Sally yet. He decided to just keep her appt on Thurs and do xrays then since her stools firmed up. I do have to say I am learning my lesson in all this. My animals always have lessons and I kind of failed to ask this time. Sally and I were on our way to the vet to weigh her and she was staring at me so intensely which she NEVER does in the car… always too busy dancing or looking out. All of a sudden – TRUST. Trust yourself. I knew she needed to come off half of the goats milk, but you know… what do I know. But that is the thing. She knew and I needed to listen. I need to trust that I am hearing, trust that I do know things that can help animals. That word has been popping up A LOT, lately and when that happens… there is always a lesson.

26.4 to 26.8 yip! Yip!!!!!

I have been dealing with this even before Sally – even my guides mentioned it. To trust – is not easy sometimes.

I had a mentor meeting with the most amazing woman – Alena Hennessy. I have been wanting to meet her since moving here. Her energy is magic, she reminded me of things I had forgotten about myself. I am so so grateful for last night – it was just what I needed.

The tshirts should be done maybe tomorrow or so. I can’t wait for the colors. If I can sell all of these, I will have just enough for Conrad’s surgery. I have had just enough donations this week to cover xrays, meds, visit and food. I can’t tell you how much my heart is swelled from the generosity of people.

So anyways… I saw this site today. Let’s all practice some daily gratitude and see our lives change. Deal?!

For Christmas this year, one of my best girls gifted me a gratitude journal. Each day you just write one sentence of what you are thankful for. It has changed my outlook, and made me realize that on even the shittiest days we all still have something to be thankful for. Keeping a candle lit for Sally these past few days….

Also, I would love to order a custom mini totem. Is it best just to convo you through etsy?

It’s true, Hollie – there is always something… I used to write 5 things at the end of my posts that I was grateful for that day… I think I am going back to that. It just makes such a good ending to the day and thank you so so much for your love for sally. I am telling you that we feel it all, I would be a mess if it weren’t for all the support lifting up my wings and of course, Sally – she is a rock – no matter what. She is so amazing. Yes, if you would like one, etsy is the best that way I don’t get everything confused, which is easy over here in blogland 😉
