So the four pups made it to Portland and already had their glamour shots taken. In fact, Hal was just adopted today – not even a blink and some amazing family snatched him up. They said his name means Happy And Loving. How cute is that?!
So here are some recent photos that Tasha sent us:
So congrats Hal on your new family!!

Also, Rose went to the vet and we are still trying to raise money to cover her expense, so if you would like to chip in we are EVER so grateful. Several people that said they would donate and sponsor have gone MIA and we are trying not to stress… but anyways…Here is what the vet said…
Update on Rose’s vet visit: Rose’s x-rays turned up a number of things. She has hip dysplasia/arthritis in her right rear hip, and an old ACL tear that was never fixed in her left rear knee along with more arthritis. She also has Spondylosis (degeneration of the spine). All 3 of these are causing her a great deal of pain, but we feel we can treat the pain. She also has a chronic ear infection.
So here is her chipin and karma is awesome, so good things will come back to you!
and here is my foster Tam Tam. She is doing great. Still detoxing some gross stuff out of her eyes from the recalled food they were being fed and her legs are making noise when she walks, so I would like to take her to the vet to get checked out, but we are so in debt from the rescue last week, it will have to wait until more money is fundraised and it isn’t an emergency – like Rose. She is definitely getting some good food, love and comfort, though!

Please let me know if you would like Robin to donate some of his original art (featuring dogs) that has appeared in BARK Magazine. You could auction the art online, or just sell it outright (on line). Please email me and let me know if we can help in this way.
Thanks Jeanne! I will talk to Amy 😉
These photos are just beautiful! Thank you for this blog and thank you for posting the link to the ChipIn for Rose’s Recovery. Your Tam Tam looks like an angel. It’s no effort to look past her scars on the outside and gaze into her beautiful soul through those gorgious eyes! So happy to hear of Hal’s adoption. Let’s pray that all the dogs find the forever homes they truly deserve in short time.
