Holy heck this day has been off. Well, since last night…. Sally was sick and lethargic last night. I was so upset that I stayed up until 3:30 am with her. I would hold her paw and cry and then watch tv, maybe make some toast and then lay with her again. There was some decent tv last night, though 😉
Anyways, she was sick all morning and I took her to the vet. BAD IDEA. It was an extremely horrible experience. Long story short, it is now midnight and she has been able to keep down a bit of broth the last two hours and she is resting. So I am thinking good thoughts that it was just a bug. She had so much support from her facebook fans. Sally is pretty amazing and my little treasure.
So this is my list for tomorrow, since our day was extremely uneventful today.
* Send out Etsy orders
* order supplies for to upcoming projects
* Conquer mini quilt #1
* cut out and sew 10 bags
*love on dogs
* eat tons of green smoothies. (freaking yummy)
Here are some photos of little miss sally today on her way to the evil vet.
I really can’t believe how amazing all of you are for supporting me with the etsy shop and sally and everything.
It means so much. My heart is so full of love for all my friends.
useless side information: This is Phoebe’s six month of passing and I tend to get a little more neurotic probably when one of the kids is sick in that month. Like Millie in January… But when the vet tells you such mean, horrible things about my dog… well, I think that would unnerve anyone.

Bwahhhhhhhh to that horrible vet. My vet once told me my Persian was the ugliest cat he’d ever seen. I told him how ironic that was since my cat had just said the same thing about him as we waited for our appointment. I changed vets. I won’t stand for that kind of disrespect. His next vet adored him and still has his photo in her lobby.
Hugs to precious Sally. Hope she feels better soon.
haha Pat, that made me fall off my chair. I could just imagine you saying that!
Poor sweet thing! What awful stuff does the vet say? Perhaps you need to find a new vet? Thanks for the tip on the smoothies I will go check them out. Gonna hit the etsy shop too, I want that quilt!
haha. Yah! I only used her because the vet I love is 13 hours away. Oh well. Sally is back to her sparkly self!!! Seriously, the smoothies have changed my life. The quilt isn’t up yet…. 🙂 soon, though.
I’m so sorry. 🙁 I get neurotic like that, too, especially when it comes to Crystal, who is by far the oldest of my 4. I hope that Sally recoups really soon. Lots of hugs to you both!
