slug bug

A useless story for your enjoyment.

When I first moved to L.A, we all discovered something kind of traumatic. It was a warm evening and I lived in a cute little, old bungalow in Hollywood. The warm winds were lovely, so often I would leave the side doors open. At the time, I just had Ansli and Conrad. I happened to walk in the kitchen at one point to wonder what Conrad was doing and I saw these wretched creatures.  I thought they were worms… from Conrad’s butt. They were huge – mind you, the largest worm-like creatures I have ever seen. I called my best friend freaking out – she didn’t know. So I called the local 24 hour vet freaking out!!! and told them I think my dog has worms and they are HUGE and they are moving around and they have antennas on their heads.

They had NO idea!!! haha. Well, I finally discovered that these critters didn’t come from my dog’s ass – Poor Conrad by the way… the things I put him through and that these were in fact slugs.

Slug

Poor Conrad. Poor slug.

FYI – I am messing around trying to find the right content and mix of stuff for this blog. So sorry for the inconsistency – it will all work out soon.

P.S. – I say daily, but really… right now that means nothing. You might not see it tomorrow. 😉

I HATE slugs. The first time I saw one, we found it under a log in our backyard, and it was gigantic, yellow, and looked like it was about to burst. It was so gross.

Also, lovely hat!

We have a lot of slugs in our yard during the warm months and I can certainly understand how freaky they would have been if you didn’t know what they were! Add to that them looking like they might have been in Conrad and oye! Panic!

I love the hat and love your posts. Consistency is overrated. 🙂
