So I decided instead of complaining about the grocery stores that I will try and grow my own veg. and herbs. I had so many incredible exotic herbs in Hollywood, but had to give them all away when I moved. I am going to grow everything in pots…I don’t like the soil around my house. I am going to make my deck closed off, so the kids can suntan and I can sit outside and work and talk to my plants…oh, wait..talk to my dogs. I am not crazy.
Any advice on what grows well in southern Utah, or does it matter if I am growing in pots?
I love this website: you grow girl. I know there are countless others as I am a blog stalker, but I am too lazy to post them. I am very excited. Let the potting begin!

my thyme always dies too.
I’ve been trying to grow herbs and am miserably failing! My thyme died. My rosemary died. And my Italian parsely and basil are very close to death. SIGH. I’d really love to grow tomatoes and strawberries but fear they won’t stand a chance with my brown thumb.
Don’t give Grace! hehe. My thyme always died. However, my sage, basil, mint and lavender always did so well.
