Feline Fido Collars
I was checking emails today and came across the Cutest lady. This sweet lady saw Sonya’s picture on a pet forum and was touched by her sad little face. She makes collars and wanted to make one for Sonya. Meeting people like this is so inspiring!
she then told me about her dogs and sent the CUTEST picture. So I want to share her story, to remind us that there are good people in this world.
Here is what Julie wrote:
My last Rottie was adopted as an adult, had
been in 3 homes, and was abused by men…she ended up being the sweetest,
most even keeled dog I’ve ever owned (or been owned by). We lost her 3 years
ago to cancer. I have since adopted another doggie named Ava, a rottie mix,
who well…this photo of her with my newest addition explains it all (an
orphaned kitten born in my backyard (1 of a litter of 5 I bottledfed and
rehomed) compliments of my neighbors un-neutered cats – born with a leg
deformity that has already cost us $1000 and a billion trips to the vet..but
that’s another story..):

Anyway, I literally snapped this pic a few minutes ago and had to share with
someone, hehe. Ava was abandoned as a puppy on a rural highway in kentucky
and suffers from seperation anxiety but is otherwise the best dog ever…It
never ceases to amaze me what people are capable of doing to animals.

Here’s a photo of Dani – the kitten in the photo with Ava (you can see her
leg deformity here…) We named her Dani after the character “Daniel” from
the movie karate kid…you know the scene where he practices the “crane
kick” out in front of the ocean? Well, since she has his strong fighting
spirit and a permanent crane-kick stance, we thought it was cute. She’s also
very tiny weighing in at only 2 1/2 lbs when she should be over 4 by
now…but we love her. As you can see Ava loves her just as much!

Isn’t Julie the best?! She was sooo good to that litter of orphans… they are in such excellent homes thanks to her.

Gotta love the world of animal lovers 🙂
