I am sitting here drinking coffee and reading all the Martin Luther King Jr. quotes and I got chills. What an amazing man to have left us too soon.

He has inspired me today to be a better person, to follow my dreams and to make changes in this world. We can all make a difference if we try and move forward.

“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

I was also reading about his family. His wife later in her life became a vegan and his son is a vegan and prominent civil rights and animal activist. I love it when people believe in something enough to change themselves and help others see and understand.

“Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.” 

Anyways, I am inspired today for many good reasons and much needed in this winter mud hole I am in. My soulodge class starts today too and my new metal equipment comes in a couple days so I can start on items for my new shop opening.

Everything is looking up.
