I love coffee so very much. The smell of walking into a coffee shop puts me in the best mood. My aunt sent my mom some coffee and I stole it for a minute to make some and my room smelled amazing and my day was a chocolate heaven.

It was flavored… and nice.

My week has been… not so well. I have been fighting these negative voices in my head telling me I am not creative and have nothing to offer. Does that happen to you?

I am fighting through it. I went for a walk immediately when I woke up and try to stay busy, but it feels like I am sinking in muddy waters. I know it will pass and I hold on strongly to that. I also try for every negative thought to think of 2 blessings in its place. So my week has been one full of gratitude… which is good 😉

I guess I am feeling restless. I love sewing and making the pouches, but I feel like there is something else that would fulfill my soul a little more. I love being able to make all sorts of things. At some moments I am feeling the wood pieces, or cloth and now I am feeling metal. Maybe there isn’t anything that is just that “one” thing. Maybe for me it is all sorts of things… so I keep working, searching and making.

I would like to sleep, though. The last week my nights have been filled with waves of tossing and turning, up and down. I think this might not be helping in my melancholy mood or maybe I should be eating better, I haven’t been feeling well.

I am not fretting though.

The sun is still shining and I am still working and my dogs are still cuddling.

I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I just want to say how grateful I am for all your love in my shop this week. It feels my soul with color and love and it keeps me going… it keeps me wanting to make things that fill my soul so it can fill yours.  Thank you so much for your kind words and support and notes that keep me smiling…

Tell me friends, how has your week been? Are you ready for the holiday coming up?
I made some new silhouette designs for the shop. I am finishing all my pouches ( which is a lot), I have all the clocks finished except for the ticker pieces and now I can start the new as soon as my tools arrive… of course, much practicing first. 😉

These are in the shop 😉

so kids,

grab a hot toddy, cuddle a pooch and watch a good movie

because tonight… you deserve it.

toodles,
~driftwood.

I get those negative voices sometimes, too. They stink! “This too shall pass” has become my mantra during these times, which helps.

That bunny pouch is especially cute, but not as cute as Jack! <3
